Dubai, a city that never ceases to amaze the world with its innovative and unique attractions, has added another gem to its crown with the opening of Penguin Cove. Nestled within the much-loved Dubai Aquarium, the Penguin Cove is a brand new home to 16 Gentoo penguins. The penguins, consisting of 8 females and 8 males, were brought all the way from a facility in the USA to their new abode in Dubai.

The Penguin Cove is a specially designed temperature-controlled facility that mimics the Sub-Antarctic environmental conditions that the Gentoo penguins are used to. The temperature of the facility is maintained between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius to replicate the chilly climate of the South Pole, while the water temperature is kept between 5 and 7 degrees Celsius to match the penguins' natural habitat. To further enhance the penguins' experience, the lighting system at the attraction mirrors the annual light cycle of the penguins' natural environment.

The Penguin Cove is a must-visit attraction for anyone who loves nature and wants to get up close and personal with these adorable creatures. It provides an opportunity to observe the penguins as they swim and interact with each other, while also educating visitors about the importance of preserving the natural habitat of these amazing birds.

How to Get There:-

By Metro: Visit the Burj Khalifa/The Dubai Mall station on the metro. Go outside the main road as soon as you arrive at the station. Every 15 minutes, a feeder bus runs between the station and the mall. Alternatively, you can take the air-conditioned Metro Link Bridge to walk 15 minutes to the mall from the station.

By Car: From the heart of Dubai, take the first interchange and travel through Financial Center Road to reach The Dubai Mall (formerly Doha Street). On your right, you will see The Dubai Mall's approach road.
