Hotel Pick-Up — Abu Dhabi or Dubai

The most popular option. Licensed operators collect you directly from your hotel lobby in Abu Dhabi or Dubai in air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles. Abu Dhabi pick-up starts at 2:30 to 3:00 PM for evening safaris. Dubai pick-up starts at 1:30 to 2:00 PM to account for the longer drive. Morning safari pick-up is 7:00 to 8:00 AM.

Self-Drive Meeting Point — Al Faya Desert Area

If you've got your own vehicle, meet the safari convoy at a designated point near Al Faya off the Abu Dhabi to Al Ain highway, the E22. Coordinates are shared 24 hours before departure. Free parking is available at the meeting point. You don't need a 4x4 because the dune bashing is done in the operator's vehicles.
