Basketball Champions League Asia

Get ready for exciting basketball action this summer! Dubai will host the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia tournament from June 9-15 at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall in Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club.

Eight top clubs from Asia will compete for the championship title. Teams from Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the UAE, plus two clubs from the FIBA West Asia Super League, will battle it out. The winning team will qualify for the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

How to get to Theatre by QE2?

By metro: Theatre by QE2 is in the Queen Elizabeth 2 hotel at Port Rashid. Take the Green Line metro to Al Ghubaiba Station, then grab a taxi to QE2 Dubai.

By taxi: To take a taxi, use the Careem app or call +971 4 208 0808 and ask to be dropped off at Queen Elizabeth 2 Dubai at Port Rashid.

By car: If driving, go to Al Fahidi district and head to QE2 located just off Al Khaleej Road. There is plenty of parking at the venue.

P. Tchaikovsky: The Best of Swan Lake

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is hosting the 14th edition of Dubai Sports World from 22 June to 8 September. You can play football, basketball, cricket, badminton, or tennis at this event.

The air-conditioned venue is for all skill levels. You can rent a pitch to play with friends or join a sports academy to improve your skills. The event is in DWTC’s Za’abeel Halls 3, 4, 5, and 6, with a special parking area, so there's no reason to miss out on the fun.

By metro: The venue is at City Walk. The nearest metro station is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall. You can take a taxi or walk from the station.

By taxi: Parking is limited, so it's best to take a taxi. You can get an RTA taxi through the Careem app.

By car: If you drive, park your car opposite Safa Park, in front of Medcare Hospital, and take a bus or taxi to the Coca-Cola Arena.
