Local secrets to save you time and money.

1

Book the 4:30 PM Sunset Slot at Burj Khalifa

2

Dubai Fountain Boardwalk Is a Must

The boardwalk at AED 20 puts you just 9 metres from the water jets. It's a completely different experience from watching at the mall terrace. Tickets are bought at the boardwalk entrance, no advance reservation needed.
3

Visit Dubai Frame at Opening Time

Dubai Frame is best visited at 9 AM opening when queues are shortest and morning light illuminates the old city side beautifully. The glass-floor bridge is less crowded before 10 AM, perfect for photos.
4

Museum of the Future Needs 2 to 3 Hours

Tickets include all seven floors. Allow at least 2 to 3 hours for the full experience. The 'OSS Hope' space station floor and the 'Al Waha' sensory forest floor are the two must-do levels if you're short on time.

About Dubai Landmarks & Attractions

Dubai's skyline reads like a catalogue of engineering superlatives: the world's tallest building, the largest picture frame, a museum shaped like a torus with no interior columns, and an artificial island visible from space. The story stretches back to the 1787 Al Fahidi Fort and runs right up to the 2022 Museum of the Future.
Landmarks are clustered along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Downtown and Business Bay corridor, making it possible to tick off half a dozen icons in a single afternoon. You can photograph the Burj Al Arab from Jumeirah Beach, watch the Dubai Fountain's 150-metre water jets, and walk the glass floor of Dubai Frame all without needing a car.

Interesting Facts (Fun Facts)

Discover hidden secrets and stories.

Burj Khalifa is so tall at 828 m that you can watch the sunset from the ground, then take the elevator to the 148th floor and watch it set again. The temperature at the top can be 10 °C cooler than at ground level.
Book Burj Khalifa
The Dubai Fountain shoots 22,000 gallons of water up to 150 metres in the air, choreographed to music. That's equivalent to a 45-storey building. Shows run every 30 minutes from 6 to 11 PM and are completely free to watch from the lakeside promenade.
Palm Jumeirah added 78 km of coastline to Dubai. Its construction used enough rock to build a wall that would stretch from London to Baghdad three times over.
The Museum of the Future's Arabic calligraphy façade is not just decorative. Each quote is a structural element. The building has zero right angles inside and was constructed using robotic arms guided by parametric design software.

Why visit Dubai Landmarks & Attractions?

World Records on Every Corner

Dubai holds over 250 Guinness World Records. Think tallest building, deepest pool at Deep Dive Dubai reaching 60 m, and largest indoor theme park. These landmarks are globally unique experiences you genuinely cannot replicate anywhere else.
Explore Landmarks

Clustered and Easy to Combine

Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, the Fountain, and the Museum of the Future are all within a 10-minute walk or taxi of each other. Dubai Frame is a quick ride from the souks. You can realistically visit 3 to 4 major landmarks in a single day without exhausting yourself or overspending on transport.

Spectacular at Any Hour

Dubai's landmarks reinvent themselves after dark. Burj Khalifa's LED façade becomes a light show, the Fountain erupts in choreographed spectacle, and Dubai Frame glows gold. Visiting the same landmark by day and by night gives you two entirely different, equally Instagram-worthy experiences.
