The Liwa Full Day Desert Safari is the perfect tour package to explore and admire the beauty of the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi. Starting at 9 AM and concluding around 7 PM, the tour takes you from the city streets to the majestic Empty Quarter (Rub al Khali) and the Liwa region. Experience the enchanting desert landscape with its golden sand dunes, ghaf trees, and vast desert sands. Highlights include thrilling dune bashing rides, a picturesque oasis lunch, and visits to attractions like the luxury resort Qasr Al Sarab. You'll also have the chance to see diverse flora and fauna, visit camel farms, try sandboarding, and marvel at Tal Moreeb, one of the world's highest dunes. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the desert as the day winds down before returning with unforgettable memories.

How to get there & Pickup Details: We pick up our guests from all Abu Dhabi city hotels, malls, residences, airport (Airport premier inn hotel lobby) Port (Abu Dhabi port exit gate) and other landmarks in Abu Dhabi. To confirm your pick up time our tours manager will be in touch to advise the exact pick up time.



Important Notes

  • For pick-up, guests are asked to remain in the hotel lobby or near the mall's main entrance.
  • Six passengers will be accommodated in the Land Cruiser on a shared basis.
  • Times duration or start/stop times may change due to weather conditions.
  • Please strictly adhere to all guidelines provided by the Safari Marshal.
  • Take care of your belongings.
  • Recommended attire: Loose, comfortable clothing with a sweater to keep you warm after dark in the summer. Flip flops are preferred more than shoes for comfort (if you intend sports shoes). Bring sunglasses, a sun hat and sunscreen. In the winter long clothes with jackets are recommended.
  • Have a light meal before the trip to help avoid nausea. It’s best to avoid food 2-3 hours before the journey begins.
  • On other religious holidays, there will be no entertainment activities in the camps as per the UAE law. The government will announce the dates prior.
