Join us on a walking tour of Fener and Balat—historic districts where many cultures once coexisted, both before and after the Ottoman Empire. Greeks, Armenians, Jews, Bulgarians, and even a Romanian prince once called this area home.

Together, we’ll explore neighborhoods that have witnessed the fall of two empires, over 20 conquests, Latin invasions, and centuries of cultural and religious diversity. On just one street, you might see a mosque, a church, and a synagogue standing side by side.
